The diminishing levels of collagen and elastin result in reduced skin elasticity, leading to the formation of wrinkles and the characteristic crepey texture. Furthermore, factors like prolonged sun exposure contribute to photoaging, accelerating the breakdown of collagen fibres and causing premature aging of the neck skin.
Environmental and lifestyle factors play a key role in the development of crepey neck skin. Sun damage is a major contributor, as UV rays can break down collagen and elastin fibres in the skin. Additionally, habits such as smoking can accelerate the aging process. Tobacco smoke contains harmful chemicals that impair blood flow to the skin and hinder collagen production.

I found the entire service incredibly organised and most importantly very much personalised. They do really go that extra mile for you depending on what your needs are and you do really feel well looked after. They are also very flexible and if you need an appointment no matter how busy they are, they seem to fit you in even if it’s 7am in the morning! Really happy I found this clinic so wanted to share my experience with anyone who are hesitating to make that first call xxx

Gaynor Lloyd4 April 2023I have visited Amanda three times and had Aqualyx fat dissolving treatment on a neck lump. Amanda has been friendly and professional and made me feel at ease. During the procedure Amanda explained what she was doing and what would happen. The aftercare has been excellent to. If you are thinking of having Aqualyx treatment I highly recommend a specialist like Amanda. The only thing I would have liked at the first consultation was a discussion on rhe cost of treatment, as it was a bit of a shock! Although this was mainly my fault for not asking. However the results are well worth it.
