PROCEDURE
Lip fillers, also known as lip augmentation or lip injections, are cosmetic procedures designed to enhance the volume, shape, and symmetry of the lips. The most common type of lip filler used is hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that helps to hydrate and add volume to the skin. During the procedure, Amanda applies a numbing cream to minimise discomfort. A dental block can also be used, this is where local anaesthetic is applied to the inside of the mouth to completely numb the area prior to the procedure to maximise comfort. Then, using a fine needle or cannula, the filler is injected strategically into various areas of the lips to achieve the desired shape and fullness.
Once the injections are completed, you may experience some temporary swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection sites, but these side effects typically subside within a few days. The results of lip fillers typically last anywhere from 6 to 12 months, depending on factors such as the type of filler used and metabolism. You may require touch-up treatments to maintain your desired lip volume over time.

Enhance and restore lost volume

Lip fillers cater to a wide range of people seeking to enhance the appearance of their lips. This can include those who naturally have thin or asymmetrical lips and desire more volume or better symmetry. Lip fillers offer a non-surgical solution for those looking to achieve plumper, more defined lips without undergoing surgery.
Additionally, as people age, they may experience a loss of volume in their lips, leading to a thinner appearance. Lip fillers can help address this issue by restoring lost volume and rejuvenating the lips, creating a more youthful and refreshed look.
Whether you desire subtle enhancement or a more dramatic transformation, lip fillers offer a customisable solution to address a variety of aesthetic concerns.
