Slimyonik sessions involve a gentle pressure and heat therapy, which may cause mild discomfort initially but are generally relaxing. Aqualyx injections may cause some discomfort or stinging sensation at the injection site, but this is usually brief and manageable. Arctik Cryo 21, utilising a combination of cold and infrared heat, may cause a cold sensation during the procedure, but most find it tolerable, if not comfortable.
The duration of fat removal treatments can vary depending on the specific procedure and the areas being targeted. Generally, Slimyonik sessions typically last around 30 to 45 minutes per session, while Aqualyx injections may take around 30 to 60 minutes per treatment session, depending on the number of areas being treated. Arctik Cryo 21 sessions usually last between 15 to 30 minutes per treatment area. During your initial consultation, Amanda will provide you with a more accurate estimate of the treatment duration based on your needs and goals.
After Slimyonik sessions, it's advisable to drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins from the body and to engage in light physical activity, such as walking, to enhance circulation. For Aqualyx injections, you may experience some swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the treated areas, so it's essential to follow any specific post-treatment instructions provided. This may include avoiding strenuous exercise and applying ice packs to reduce swelling. Similarly, after Arctik Cryo 21 treatments, you may be advised to drink plenty of water and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures for a short period.
Results with Slimyonik treatments typically become noticeable after a few sessions, with optimal improvements becoming apparent over several weeks. Similarly, Aqualyx injections usually lead to visible results within a few weeks, with further enhancements becoming evident over the following months. Likewise, Arctik Cryo 21 treatments may result in noticeable changes in body fat reduction and skin tightening in the weeks following the initial sessions, with continued improvements over time.

During the procedure Amanda explained what she was doing and what would happen. The aftercare has been excellent to. If you are thinking of having Aqualyx treatment I highly recommend a specialist like Amanda. The only thing I would have liked at the first consultation was a discussion on rhe cost of treatment, as it was a bit of a shock! Although this was mainly my fault for not asking. However the results are well worth it.
